This site keeps four small preference values in your browser. That is all. No analytics, no third-party trackers, no advertising, no profiling.
If you contact us via the pilot form or by email, we receive only what you choose to send.
Part of the "Now I See It" family
This site (nowiseeit.org) sits at the centre of a small family of related domains. The same privacy principles and the same actions taken apply across the entire family — what we say here we mean everywhere our name appears.
- nowiseeit.org — the platform parent. Home of the desktop app, the lesson library, and this canonical privacy statement.
- iseeitnow.org — the training and services side, with services.iseeitnow.org hosting in-person facilitation, training, and educator support work.
- iseeitnowpolls.org — the polls family. The browser-based polls system the desktop app links to. Active subdomains: launcher, base, ffa, meeting, decisions, hq.
This page covers what this site does. The desktop app has its own bundled privacy notice covering local data and the cloud features the app offers; the same principles apply there too.
What this site stores in your browser
Four values, all in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device.
edudata-theme— your chosen theme (Dark / Light / Dyslexia-friendly).edudata-lang— your chosen language (English / Bulgarian).edudata-reading-mode— whether reading-mode spacing is on or off.edudata-cookie-consent— your consent decision itself, so the banner does not reappear.
These are functional / strictly-necessary values. They exist to make the site remember how you like it. Nothing more.
What this site does NOT do
- No analytics — we do not measure your visits.
- No third-party trackers, scripts, or pixels.
- No advertising or marketing cookies.
- No fingerprinting, no profiling, no behavioural tracking.
- No social-media embeds that load tracking from other domains.
- No data shared with anyone, ever.
If you decline the cookie banner
The site still works. Your theme, language, and reading-mode choices apply for the current visit, but they are not remembered when you close your browser. Each fresh visit starts from defaults.
If you accept, the four values above are kept across visits in your browser's local storage.
You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site — the banner will appear again.
If you contact us
When you use the pilot form or write to gary@nowiseeit.org, we receive only what you choose to send — typically your name, an email address to reply to, and your message.
We use that to reply to you. We do not add you to mailing lists. We do not sell, share, or pass it on. If you ask us to delete what you sent, we delete it.
Your rights
You can clear all values stored by this site at any time through your browser's privacy settings (clear cookies and site data for nowiseeit.org). Doing so resets your preferences and re-shows the cookie banner on your next visit.
If we ever hold any personal data you sent us via contact and you want it removed, write to gary@nowiseeit.org and we will confirm deletion.
A copy of everything we hold on you, on request
You have a right to see, and to keep, everything we hold about you. Write to data-request@nowiseeit.org and we'll send you a downloadable package containing every record linked to your email or institution — pilot enquiries, support tickets, licence records, email logs, and anything else. The package includes a plain-language note explaining what's inside, so you can keep it for your own records or for any audit your school, employer, or regulator requires.
When the customer portal lands, this becomes a one-click button you can use whenever you like. Until then, the email path is honoured within the regulatory window applicable in your country.
